Low calorie desi- style zuchinni noodles.

Its summer and that means your body gets dehydrated fast. Little do people know that its not the water you drink alone that your cells will use up and hydrate you, but the water you ‘eat’ that matters the most. Fruits and vegetables in their raw form have upto 80% water content! This water, when you ‘eat’ is not only better absorbed by the cells for its optimal functions, but also creates a more alkaline environment in your stomach. Thus, helping fight bone loss and cancer to just name a few of the benefits. Watch this video or read the book ‘The Water Secret’ to understand more.

But raw fruits and vegetables are honestly boring and not everyone might enjoy them. So in collaboration with Jus’Amazin’s amazin’ range of butter’s, I experimented this fantastic recipe. Hope you enjoy ‘eating’ your water just as much as I enjoyed creating this recipe for you.

This is of course plant- based and oil- free. I like to call it Pepper- punch zoodles!

Zuchinni noodles are low in calories and dense in nutrients compared to using maida or even wheat for making noodles. Zuchinni is also high in cellular water content. I used cucumbers for this recipe since I could not resist a fresh pick from my local grocery, but it can be interchanged with zuchinni’s.

Prepare Time :15mins

2 Cups(500ml) Soy Milk
1 Tbsp Cornflour
1 Cup Water
2-3 Zucchini/ Cucumbers
2-3 Green Chilies
Pepper Powder/ Salt to taste
2 tbps Cashew Butter from JusAmazin

Chillie Flakes


Take 1 table spoon of cornflour with 1 cup of water mix wel in a bowl.

Add the mixture in hot pan.

Add 2 cups of Soy milk to the mixture and stir it wel.

Add 1 tea spoon Just Amazing pepper- punch cashew butter and mix it.

Add some chopped chillis ,pink salt ,pepper powder,coriander and mix wel.

Let the sauce cook on a low flame for 5-7 minutes. You could also add in some sweet corn if desired.

Next shred some cucmber’s using a zoodle maker:

Now plate them poring the sauce in between:

Garnish with some more cilantro and chilly flakes:
